Au Pair-ohjelma suomalaisille perheille

Euromaa tarjoaa suomalaisille perheille mukavan ja helpon tavan löytää Au Pairin, joka auttaa lasten hoidossa ja kotityössä.

Euromaa tuo vuosittain kymmeniä Au Paireja eri maista suomalaisten perheiden avuksi lasten- ja kodinhoitoon. Au Pair helpottaa perheen elämää ja rauhoittaa kiirettä, sekä tuo perheeseen uuden oppimista ja kulttuurivaihtoa.

Perheen kustannukset

Au Pair kustantaa itse matkakulut ja haluessa tapaturmavakuutuksen.

Isäntäperheen on mahdollista saada tiettyjä tukia ja vähennyksiä (kuten Kelan kotihoidontukia ja kotitalousvähennyksiä). Jokaisesta tuesta on neuvoteltava erikseen sitä myöntävän tahon kanssa.

Koska Au pairin taskuraha on verotettava tulo, isäntäperhe on velvollinen maksamaan veroja (sosiaaliturvamaksu, työeläketurva, työttömyys- ja tapaturmavakuutus sekä
ryhmähenkivakuutus). Verottaja laskee esimerkiksi Helsingissä nettoon 252,00 Euroa taskuraha (01.01.2014 alkaen taskuraha on 280,00 Eur) ja lisää luontoisedut (asunto ja ruoka), jota kutsuvat nimellä "täysihoito". Luontoisetujen arvo vuonna 2013 on 453,00 Euroa ja vuonna 2012 on 431,00 Euroa; eli verotettavan tulon kokonaismäärä vuonna 2013 on 705,00 Euroa/kk ja vuonna 2012 on 683,00 Euroa/kk. Mitä välityspalkkio sisältää?

Hoidamme osittain paperityöt ja käytännön järjestelyt puolestanne, sekä olemme tukenanne koko Au Pairin oleskelun ajan.

Au Pairin etsiminen prosessi kestää 1-4 kuukautta. Jos sopiva Au Pair ei löydy neljän kuukauden päästä, isäntäperhe ilmoittaa Euromaalle jos halua jatkaa Au Pairin etsimistä. Jos Euromaa ei tarjoa yhtä ehdokasta neljän kuukauden aikana, takuumaksu palautetaan perheelle. Jos isäntäperhe itse päätää perua ohjelmassamme osallistuminen, takuumaksu ei palauteta.

RULES OF AU PAIR PROGRAM IN FINLAND

••• Responsibilities of Euromaa 

1. To provide to a Host Family all the necessary documentation about the program, application process and Au Pair candidates.

2. To check the background of Au Pair candidates, their recommendations and other documents, and also interview them (with the help of Euromaa’s international cooperation partners).

3. To find a suitable Au Pair for a Host Family based on the application of a Host Family. Euromaa has to offer to a Host Family the candidates who meet the requirements of a Host Family.

4. To help a Host Family and an Au Pair to make the contract that covers the following: working hours and duties of an Au Pair, amount of pocket money paid by a Host Family, extra benefits like language course, insurance, use of the telephone and a Host Family car, friends’ visits etc.

5. To find another Au Pair candidate for a Host Family if an Au Pair has been in a Host Family less than 6 weeks and leaves the family. This covers the situation when one of the sides (an Au Pair or a Host Family) does not want to continue the contract.

6. To support a Host Family and an Au Pair during its stay in a Host Family.

7. Euromaa is not responsible for:

-  Any payments between a Host Family and an Au Pair.

-  Any personal bills incurred by an Au Pair while staying in a Host Family.

-  Any consequences followed by the aspects agreed between a Host Family and an Au Pair in the contract or orally.

- Any events directly or indirectly caused by intentional or negligent acts or omissions by an Au Pair placed in a Host Family’s household.

- Any liability or expense including court costs and legal fees, resulting from any personal or property damage, injury, loss or expense, incurred by an Au Pair.

- Any decisions and changes in rules/laws maid by the authorities or any delays those are not dependent on Euromaa. 

••• Responsibilities of a Host Family 

1. To recognize that the goal of Au Pair Program in Finland organized by Euromaa is cultural exchange.

2. To submit to Euromaa by post or by email the following documents: filled and signed application, host family’s photos, Dear Au Pair Letter, receipt of paid reservation fee (100 euros).

3. To notify Euromaa immediately if some information included to the application package has changed or a Host Family has decided to cancel the participation in the program.

4. To commit to the required fee to Euromaa as outlined in the brochure of the program. A Host Family has to understand and agree to the terms of payment to Euromaa and to an Au Pair and also to the refund policy.

5. To provide to Euromaa on time (within 5 working days) the information about possible contacts or interviews with Au Pair candidates before their arrival to Finland (made by email or by phone).

6. To follow the contract signed with an Au Pair before his/her arrival to a Host Family. A Host Family has to recognize that the contract made between a Host Family and an Au Pair is not a working contract as it is, but a contract that covers the responsibilities and duties of a Host Family and an Au Pair during an Au Pair’s stay in a Host Family.

7. To provide to an Au Pair the following:

- Own room and board.

- Minimum 280 euros per month pocket money, to be paid weekly or monthly on a set day.

- Language course and pay the travel expenses to the language course.

- Two weeks off to be taken at a mutually agreed upon time during the exchange after 12 months, with pocket money of 280 euros per month.

- The working hours of an Au Pair should not exceed 30 hours a week. All extra hours should be paid separately. 

8. To provide to an Au Pair upon arrival the list of his/her daily and weekly responsibilities and duties regarding children and home of a Host Family. A Host Family has to talk through all the expectations and reservations that they have for an Au Pair during her stay in a Host Family.

9. To provide to an Au Pair the clear instructions about responsibilities and duties during the whole stay of An Au Pair in a Host Family.

10. To agree with an Au Pair about his/her days off and free weekends well in advance to make it possible for an Au Pair to plan his/her free time activities beforehand.

11. To understand that an Au Pair needs time to adapt to a new country, new environment and new culture. A Host Family has to be ready to wait and help an Au Pair during his/her adaptation period.

12. To ensure that the children of a Host Family will respect an Au Pair.

13. To contact Euromaa to ask any questions that may arise during an Au Pair’s stay in a Host Family.

14. To understand and agree that the services of Euromaa consist only of screening, selecting and matching an Au Pair with a Host Family, and thereafter to oversee and provide support to both during the exchange.

15. To understand and agree that an Au Pair is neither an employee neither an agent of Euromaa.

16. To understand and agree that any controversy, dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the rules of thee program, the relationship of the parties, or its interpretation, performance or non-performance, or any breach thereof will be determined solely in arbitration conducted in Helsinki.  

••• Responsibilities of an Au Pair  

1. To submit to Euromaa by post or by email the following documents: filled and signed application, Dear Host Family Letter, references, photographs, medical certification, police record check, copy of passport, copy of driving license (if available).

2. To notify Euromaa immediately if some information included to the application package has changed or an Au Pair has decided to cancel the participation in the program.

3. To follow the contract signed with a Host Family before an Au Pair’s arrival to a Host Family.

4. To follow the responsibilities and duties agreed with a Host Family upon an Au Pair’s arrival to a Host Family.

5. To cover the traveling costs to Finland and back to the home country.

6. To respect the cultural differences, customs and laws of the host country, and a Host Family’s decisions and beliefs regarding their children and home.

7. To pay any personal bills or expenses that are not included in the contract between a Host Family and an Au Pair (for example, phone bills, travel card, medical expenses, doctor visits, gym membership etc.)

8. To cover the expenses of damage caused to the members of a Host Family, its property or belongings up to 300 Euros per accident.  

••• Payment Terms 

1. The program fee is 500 Euros, which consists of two payments:

- A Host Family pays the reservation fee 100 Euros to Euromaa when applying for the program (meaning sending the application package to Euromaa by email or by post).

- A Host Family pays the rest of program fee 400 Euros when an Au Pair arrives to a Host Family.

2. The process of finding a suitable Au Pair takes about 1-4 months from the moment when a Host Family has left the application to Euromaa.

3. If Euromaa does not find a suitable candidate during four months from the moment when a Host Family has left the application, a Host Family informs if they are willing to continue the search.

4. If Euromaa does not offer any suitable candidates during four months from the moment when a Host Family has left the application, the program’s reservation fee (100 euros) will be returned to a Host Family.

5. If Euromaa offers at least one suitable candidate during four months from the moment when a Host Family has left the application, but a Host Family has decided to cancel the participation in the program, the program’s reservation fee (100 euros) will not be returned.

6. If Euromaa has found a suitable au pair for the host family, but she has left the host family within less then 6 weeks, Euromaa will be responsible for finding another candidate for the host family free of charge (meaning the the program fee 500 Euros was already paid by the host family). If the host family decides that they do not like to get another au pair, Euromaa returns to the family half of the program fee 250 Euros (out of 500 Euros paid by the family).
